His Master’s Thesis was “Astrology and Architecture” in the USA, where he designed a monument to Sri Aurobindo on the basis of his Natal Chart and Indian Philosophy. His penchant for understanding mythological aspects of culture makes him right candidate to be on the team to interpret the challenges of shaping the Iconic Amaravathi.

With an International experience spanning over two decades. Mr. Vootla worked with HOK Sport for seven years as an Associate Designer on some of the prestigious projects that include Cincinnati Ball Park, Pittsburg Steelers, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Browns, New York Mets, Ohio Convention Center and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Working with Charles F Mc Afee Associates, on the modular Prefabricated Housing Project Mr. Vootla’s contribution aided CFM architects become the recipient of prestigious National Award from President Bill Clinton.

Christoph Timm leads SOM’s Enclosure Group, a practice embedded among the design and engineering studios in the firm’s New York office that focuses on the design of building enclosures and facades. With more than two decades of experience in the creative field, Christoph has designed a wide variety of projects that go far beyond architecture to encompass products, furniture, and even streetlights.

Christoph has deep expertise in the design and fabrication of high-performance building enclosures, and is particularly interested in how their aesthetically crafted appearances shift under varying lighting conditions. At SOM, Christoph started a construction site visit program that regularly takes young architects to different sites in New York to create a better understanding of the complexities of construction in relation to design. He is deeply engaged with technological innovations in the field and shares his expertise actively at conferences and industry events. He has also lectured on design and building performance-related topics worldwide.

Mr.Faizer Ali Dastagir is the National Head–Projects for Viva Composite Panels. He is a Mechanical engineer by qualification. He Has 25 years’ experience in Marketing, Business Development, Operations and also handling execution for various Façade projects with leading Façade Companies in India and Overseas.

George Verghese has 30 years of extensive experience as an Architect in India and abroad.

He has worked on a wide range of projects ranging from mixed-use developments to IT campuses, residential, healthcare  and retail projects.

He completed his  Bachelor Of Architecture from IIT Roorkee in 1992 and his Diploma in Urban Design from CEPT, Ahmedabad in 1995.  From 1998 to 2003, he was worked as a Senior Architect with Pithavadian & Partners, Chennai and   between 1996-1997, he was associated with Perunding Alam Bina Sdn. Bhd, Kuala Lumpur. During his tenure there he was involved with the Master Plan of the New Administrative Capital of the state of Johor. Prior to this, between 1992 and 1996 he worked with other architectural firms.  

He joined RSP India in 2003 and is currently a Director and heads the  firm’s Hyderabad branch office.

In my current role as Associate Vice President at Phoenix Group, I lead the procurement and sustainability functions for one of India’s premier real estate developers. I am responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing of materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all procurement activities align with the company’s sustainability goals. With over 20 years of experience, I bring a strong background in Development Management, Design Management, Value Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Sustainability. My expertise in composite steel structures across multiple projects adds significant value to my role. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Construction Management from NICMAR, and my strong foundation in arts and design further enhances my contributions to the construction and real estate sectors.

Kushagra Awasthi comes with over 13 years of experience in various aspects of façade and fenestration in both Aluminium and UPVC products. By education, he is a post-graduate in Architecture, integrated with Façade Design, from TH OWL, Germany, and a graduate of Anna University in Mechanical Engineering, from India.

His core competencies include custom engineering, value engineering, and system development. In his current role, he heads the engineering division of Schueco India, that is responsible for technical compliance, pre-construction designing, post-award activities, structural engineering, new product development and L&D activities.

Prior to this role, he was leading product management for a global portfolio where he was accountable for article management, market analysis, product costing and product performance.

He comes with a diverse knowledge in project execution, auditing and troubleshooting with his experience over these 9 years with Schueco India, in both commercial and residential businesses. Before Schueco, his capabilities span across plant operations and material planning. In his free time, he prefers listening to music, and enjoys going on long scenic drives.

Mathieu Meur provides strategic and technical leadership as the director of DP Façade. Through his training as a multi-disciplinary engineer, and subsequent years of experience heading the largest façade consultancy practise in the world, he has developed extensive knowledge of all types of building envelope systems, their design, engineering, and related codes of practice. He has worked on numerous major construction projects in Asia, the Middle East and beyond, including Resorts World at Sentosa, Changi Airport Terminal 1 Upgrading, and The Dubai Mall, currently the largest mall in the world. Passionate about sharing his knowledge and skills with others, he is a frequent speaker at conferences, writes for technical publications, and has been a Lecturer at Real Estate & Construction Centre on Façade Design and Façade Condition Assessment since 2002. He is also a fellow of the Society of Façade Engineering from the United Kingdom since 2010. Considering sustainability to be at the heart of the process, Mathieu was the Chairman of the Singapore Green Building Council Taskforce on Cladding & Roofing from 2012 to 2016.

Nanda has over 17 years of rich experience in various capacities in façade construction projects. He is currently heading Evermark Project Solutions, A Consulting firm as Façade Project Director. Prior to Evermark, he was with Goldman Sachs through C&W as Façade Project Manager and was Façade Manager at Larsen and Toubro (L&T) overseeing design and execution of various high quality and Landmark facades across India. Apart from L&T and Goldman Sachs he had worked with Technal and SP Fabricators. Nanda is responsible for managing and delivering projects on façade from conception through to completion. He coordinates and manages efforts of participant firms and individuals for successful completion of façade package in a project.

Over 19 years of experience in façade testing in Middle East, India and other Asian Countries.

Reji has handled several iconic projects such as Dubai international Airport [UAE], Hamad International Airport-Doha [Qatar], Riyad Metro Stations [KSA], Nirlon Knowledge Park- Mumbai [India], St. Regis Hotel- Amman [Jordan], French Avenue Project [Lebanon], Cairo festival City [Egypt], Crescent Tower - Baku [Azerbaijan], Future Museum Dubai [UAE], etc. He has obtained training from BSRIA [UK] as well as ATTMA for Air tightness testing. Reji has completed several Air Tightness testing in the Middle as part of LEED certification programme as well as Dubai Green building Regulations and ESTIDAMA requirements.

Armed with a Structural Engineering double-degree from Oxford University, Rohan has experience working with Façade and Fenestration companies in Thailand, Spain and South Korea. Leading the operations at Aluplex since 2011, Rohan has been using his strong technical foundations to deliver multiple façade projects across the country of varying complexity and scale.

Ron Hull, P.E, CDT® is the Global Director of High-Performance Products for Kuraray. Ron is based in the USA and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Facade Tectonics Institute (FTI) and CSI South Florida Chapter and is also the Secretary and Treasurer of the Glazing Industry Code Committee (GICC). Ron is an active member of the Florida AIA, Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA).
